Somerset County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

SOMERVILLE – The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office is unveiling a new memorial honoring fallen officers from Somerset County.

The public is invited to the Veterans Memorial plaza next to the Somerset County Administration Building at 20 Grove St. for a Somerset County Law Enforcement Memorial ceremony on Friday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. to honor officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The event will include a flag presentation by the Sheriff’s Honor Guard, music by the Somerset County Police Pipes & Drums, a New Jersey State Police flyover, and guest speakers.

"This is a meaningful tribute for our fallen officers who gave their lives while serving the citizens of Somerset County," said Sheriff Frank J. Provenzano. “We invite you to join us as we honor their memory and service to our communities.”
