5/21/2018 - Peapack Gladstone Fire Department Needs You!

What a gorgeous town we live in. What wonderful neighbors we have in our community? Did you know that some of those neighbors are fire fighters in your local fire company? Did you know that they are all volunteers who get up from family dinners and in the middle of the night to answer calls? Did you know that 1 out of 4 people will need a fire fighter either for a house fire or a car accident in their lifetime? Did you know that you can be one of them?

Over the next few weeks your local fire company will be holding two open-houses for interested men and women who would consider joining the department. So, if you’ve ever thought about how you could serve your community, or you just had a desire to ride around in a big red truck with flashing lights and sirens come by the fire house for one of the open houses (May 26th and June 16th), stop by our apparatus on community day (June 9th), or give us a call for a personal conversation.

For more information, to ask questions, or to just explore the possibilities call Kingsley Hill at 908-234-0972.

We need your help and it can be a fun and rewarding way to help your community (and if you have small children they love to say “my dad’s (or mom's) a fire fighter.”)

Come out even if you think fire-fighting may not be your thing. There are many opportunities in our town’s emergency services organizations including, Fire, EMS (First Aid Squad), and the Office of Emergency Management (OEM). We can tell you about the options and opportunities.
