Updated on February 3, 2026: Pottersville Road Bridge Construction
Pottersville Road Bridge was closed on June 30 for utility work related to the project. Bridge construction work began on July 21, 2025. Concrete substructure work and steel superstructure is complete. Installation of new gas main is now complete. Due to continued winter weather conditions, concrete deck construction is on pause until more favorable temperatures / snow melt occurs. NJAW will install the new water mains once the new concrete bridge deck is complete. Bridge sidewalks, pylons and railing work will be done concurrent with NJAW water work. Approach roadway work will be completed after concrete deck work is complete and new water mains are installed. Weather permitting, anticipated project completion is April 2026. Additional updates will be post as work progresses.
